Lena Zimskind is a senior at Burbank High School in Los Angeles CA, where she is the student head of lighting design, as well as a crew lead, in the Stagecraft Tech program. In previous years, she was a stage manager and spotlight operator, before finding her passion in lighting design. She looks forward to studying stage lighting design and theater in college before pursuing a career in live entertainment lighting design. 

Outside of school, Lena has worked as Technical Director and sound and lighting designer on a production at Zombie Joe's Underground, an alternative local theater company, and interned at the Volt Lites lighting and production services company in L.A. This past summer, she also spent a week in the Advanced Lighting Skills Workshop for high school students at the Studio School of Design in New York.
